Angela Neidig

Angela grew up near London, England where she gained her love for a variety of dance styles at the Woolard Tiffin School of Dance. She came to America with her family in 1999 where she gained her love for Ballroom Dance at Alta High School. In 2002 they won Nationals in both Latin and Ballroom formation team championships. Though it was her first year dancing ballroom she won local competitions and was a guest performer for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Winter Olympics.

Angela was a member of the BYU Ballroom Dance Company for six wonderful years. During that time they toured with their variety showcase of Latin and International dance styles throughout Europe, South Pacific, Eastern Asia, and the United States. They also performed in the opening of the Beijing Cultural Olympic Festival and were special guest artists at Ballroom Dance Competitions and TV shows.

The group’s most prestigious international competition was in the Blackpool Dance Festival in Blackpool, England. Angela competed there twice and they took first place in both modern formation and Latin formation categories. After returning from an LDS mission Angela’s spot was reserved for the Latin Medely and was the only one featured with a solo.

After the competition Angela took part in their full performance of Capture the Magic through England, giving charity performances to help communities in both countries.
Angela loved competing both nationally and internationally winning an array of Latin Style competitions and placing in Standard competitions with some of the best dancers in the country.

Now Angela is enjoying sharing her expertise with students of the awesome eMotion Dance. She loves being a new mummy to her adorable baby girl Leah Andelin.
