Kelsey Walsh


Kelsey, born and raised in Chicago, IL, began her formal training at Visceral Dance Center under the direction of Nick Pupillo. There, she joined the Visceral Studio Company youth ensemble where she focused on contemporary, ballet and jazz repertoire. During her time with Visceral she spent her summers training at River North Dance Chicago as a summer apprentice as well as The Joffrey Ballet, Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, The Movement Invention Project, and Keigwin+Company Summer Intensive Programs. Kelsey also got a jump start with her professional career when she was hired on as a Character Performer at the age of 16 at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. She performed in various lead roles until her high school graduation. Kelsey went on to attend The University of Arizona where she earned her B.F.A in dance. While attending the University she had the honor to perform works by Sherry Zunker, Larry Keigwin, Ernie Flatt, Sam Watson and Michael Williams. Kelsey is thrilled to be joining Odyssey Dance Theatre and would like to give a special thanks to her family for all of their love and support.
